Search Wikia is a new search engine concept implementation that allows users to
add sites, edit and rank search engine results, as well as to comment on them.
Supposedly, these efforts influence the results shown to all users. The site is
currently at
Search Wikia It is also called "Wikia Search," The Search Wikia site
has been active since January of 2008.
Search Wikia is probably not quite the same as
Google's experimental
Personalized Search
concept,
SearchWiki,
that began beta testing in November 2008. The difference is that Google claims
that the results will only affect your own personal search, not everyone else's.
But Google will show your comments about a site to other users.
