Choosing the hosting and type of Web site - these may be the most important decisions you make.
Content - Choosing content that is interesting and that will draw visitors if it is properly advertised on the
Web. If your site is uninteresting, even if your product or idea is great, people will not come. If it doesn't contain
content that interests visitors, then the pages cannot usually optimized for interesting content.
Choosing key words and the message that fit your product, are popular search terms and do not have a lot of
competition.
Internal design- Designing the URL, the site and the page to support the effort of "telling" the search engines
that a particular page is about a particular topic.
External design - Setting up support Web sites and Web logs, and linking to the page or site using the
appropriate key words in the text; exchanging links with other Web sites and pages.
Submissions to search engines and directories like DMOZ (not needed for Google)
